Vice Admiral McConnell (USN, Ret´d) is Executive Vice President and leader of the National Security
Business for the leading consulting firm, Booz Allen Hamilton.  McConnell served as U.S. Director
of National Intelligence (DNI) under Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama.  In a career
spanning four decades, he has been a career intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy, Senior Intelligence
Officer on the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Director of the National Security Agency and second Director of
National Intelligence.  Over the past few years, his area of focus has been counter-terrorism,
cyber security, counter-proliferation and foreign intelligence.
