My job as a Stylist with Stella & Dot is to make sure that your experience hosting a Stella & Dotsoiree is easy, fun, and stylish. That's why I've put together these six simple steps that have worked well for my past hostesses, and that have earned them hundreds of dollars in free and discounted jewelry. Remember, you can earn up to 25% of your trunk show's retail sales in free jewelry...all paid for by Stella & Dot. Now tell me, who doesn't want to make the most of that opportunity?!?
Here's your blueprint for a successful trunk show:
1. Let's pick the date, time, and location. (If we haven't already!) I'll set up your party in the Stella & Dot party assistant and email you with your password to the Hostess Connection viamy website, www.stelladot.com/ , which you can use to access your invitees, check RSVP's, make your wish list, and see how your party's sales are going.
2. Send me your guest list, because I'll take care of sending out your invitations!Think of everyone you know...friends, relatives, associates from work, church, and community; neighbors; and kids connections. We'll invite them, and invite them to bring a friend! Typically,one-third of invited guests come to an event, so you'll want to make sure that you aim to inviteat least 40 people. Remember, the more people you invite, the more people will show and themore people that show and shop, the more you'll receive in free and discounted jewelry. I'll needthe following information: first & last name, phone number, mailing address and email address.If they don't have an email, no worries! I'll send a postcard invitation.
3. I'll send a save-the-date. I'll use the list you've sent me and will send out a quick save-the-date email. There are cute modern graphics that are very Stella & Dot.
4. A day or two later, I'll send the invitation. Using the fabulous Stella & Dot e-invitation, your guests will officially be invited to your soiree. They'll be able to reply automatically and, if they can't make it, they'll be invited to shop your party. All orders placed through your e-invitation will count towards your host rewards. Doesn't get any better than that, does it?
5. Make follow up calls to everyone. A day or two before your show, make a personal call to all your invited guests to confirm their attendance or - if they haven't RSVP'd - remind them of the invitation.
6. Put your pretty on! On the day of your party, open the doors to your home (or venue), wear your favorite (or favorites!) from the Stella & Dot Collection, and HAVE FUN!
