Friends and Family,
Most of you know by now that I am running a 1/2 Marathon in Walt Disney World on January 9th, 2009 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Thanks to the Team in Training program and some help from friends and family I am prepared to run 13.1 miles. However to compete in this marathon I must reach my fundraising goal of $3,800. Currently I have raised $2,201.25, plus we are looking at adding funds from donations received this week in checks of $100 per member of my team and $250 a piece from the charity poker tournament and Barnes & Noble gift wrapping events. That leaves me with $1,248.75 left to raise by December 22, 2009. A special thanks to those that have already made a donation to this cause. However, without additional help in fundraising this last chuck of money, I will not have the funds to compete (I have already made some sizable donations to my efforts). Please help by giving a donation to my Team in Training website or by sharing my fundraiser with your friends and family. Together I know we can reach this fundraising goal and help fund life-saving research and patient services for families suffering with Leukemia and Lymphoma.

PS For those that play poker I will be holding another Charity Poker Tournament on Saturday, January 2, 2010. So save the date and get ready to play some Texas Holdem for a great cause! Our last even raise $415 dollars for LLS and my goal at this event is $1,000 for my team.
