Blogging 101 – Top 10 FREE Blogging Platforms

Before you start creating a Blog you need to decide on what you want your Blog to be about. Some say that you should Blog about what you are passionate about or something that you are familiar with but I don't fully agree with that. I believe if you have a interest in a something or want to learn about something, your Blog could be very interesting and you can learn and educate all at the same time.

Once you have decided what your Blog is going to be about you then need to decide on which blogging platform you are going to use. There are several different kinds. Now before I give you the list of the different type of platforms let me tell you this, there are FREE Blog Platforms and there are PAID Blog Platforms.

Now here is a list of 10 FREE Blogs you can setup, some of the Blog platforms below require you to have your own hosting account (I use Host Gator). If you choose to use a Blog platform that provides free hosting, please understand that the owners of the blogging platform really own your Blog and if for any reason they decide they don't want to be in the blogging businesses, you could possibly loose your Blog. So with that said be sure to save all of your content on your hard drive or some type of flash drive.

So now you have chosen your Blog platform you now have to get it all setup and maybe even customize it. Once all that work has been done your next step is to create some valuable content for your Blog. This is very important. You want your readers to connect with you and to be loyal and for that to happen, you must offer information they will find interesting and helpful.

I suggest that you post your content to your Blog almost every day if possible, if not every day, at least 3-4 times a week.
