JPL's Accountant is a full-time role for a trustworthy person with a
solid background in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General
Ledger accounting. You will be expected to perform a wide range of
professional accounting functions in a project accounting environment,
exercising independent judgment and communicating results to
management. Responsibilities include: processing AP invoices,
oversight of PA sales tax billing and reporting, reconciliation of
bank and balance sheet accounts, reporting on project profitability,
payroll, and performing fiscal period closing activities.
Successful Accountant Qualities Include:
•Bachelor's degree in accounting.
•4 years experience with computerized accounting system(s) such as
Microsoft Dynamics.
•Proficiency in Excel.
•Excellent organizational, analytical, investigative, and problem
solving skills.
•Good judgment and decision making skills.
•Good communication and interpersonal skills.
•Evidence of self-motivation and the capacity to take on additional
responsibilities as needed.
•Project accounting experience.
•Computerized report writing/Crystal Reports skills.
•Tax experience.
